WATER LILY

Nymphaeas or Water Lilies are true aquatics. They grow with their roots in soil and their leaves floating on the surface of the water. About 40 species of Nymphaea are known. They are natives of the Northern Hemisphere, the tropics, Australia, and South Africa.
