CLEMATIS

Clematis is a hardy climbing plant that belongs to the buttercup family. They grow best in temperate climates. There are more than a hundred and fifty kinds but interest centers in the large-flowered varieties. The flower of the Clematis has no true petals; its beauty is in the colored sepals which is usually four but may be as many as eight.
